My Website

http://cleantechblog.com (and Huddler of course)

Favorite green websites/publications:

EcoGeek.org, WorldChanging.com, Inhabitat.com, Grist.org (especially David Roberts), AutoblogGreen.com

Favorite non-profit organization

For the greenie in me, Carrotmob. For the teacher in me, Breakthrough Collaborative.

I think the most important environmental issue is:

climate change, bee collapse, overexploitation of resources (trees, fisheries, water, etc), biodiversity loss, environmental inequalities...just to name a few...

The greenest thing I do is:

I support local green businesses, I take public transportation when I can, I use all CFLs, and I help educate folks about green products. In addition to conserving as much as possible, I offset my transportation with TerraPass and buy RECs with Village Green Energy.

Why am I passionate about being green?

We're all in this together.

About Me

I work at Huddler - please contact me anytime if I can help in any way. (And it's pronounced "st-ee-ns" or \ˈstēns\ if you prefer that notation.)

Good morn'
nice photo by the tree.
Bob & I are visiting San Francisco in late November. First time. Afterward, we will rent a ( tiny) car & drive to Carmel for a few days. Have you ever seen a real Joshua Tree ?
Coline, from Manitoba Canada.

Thanks Stins. Appreciate the welcome. In response to your question, in NYC we have ConEd Solutions which offers a blend of renewable energy or 100% wind. I wish it was more popular and widespread. Have a grand day, and congrats on the site.

Hey Stins, the site is a great idea! I'm new here and it may be here, but I don't find it. I was thinking maybe since just about everyone shops at Wal-Mart, there could be a section about recycling at Wal-Mart. They do have the battery recycling, plastic, etc. Maybe there could be a section about what they recycle and where? Just a suggestion! Have a great day!

Hi Stins,
I'm glad you liked the post I did in Triple Pundit. It was my pleasure! I also linked to huddler on a short post I did yesterday about water conservation on another blog I contribute to at Hugg.ca.

Thanks for posting this site on Maya's Mom and thanks for the welcome! Wow...I just filled in my profile and now I see yours, and I feel like a "seedling" in the green world...and that's OK - cause at least I'm here! :)
