I think the most important environmental issue is educating parents and daycare owners about the hazards of using toxic household cleaners in their homes and in their centers. "More children under four die of accidental poisonings at home than are accidentally killed with guns at home." (National Safety Council) Let's stop poisoning our children, especially when safer products exist! |

The greenest thing I am doing is converting my home over to eco-friendly products. I am ridding my home of all toxic household cleaners and personal care products. I am trying to get better with recycling and reusing. I am also passing this on to my children at home and school. |
| Why am I passionate about being green? |
I am passionate about being green because I am concerned about the health of my family and the future of our environment. We as parents/adults must become more educated in order to help our children see the importance of taking care of our world. We live in it, so why not taking the appropriate measures to take care of it. If going green is what it takes, then let's get going! |
