If I could change one thing in the world, it would be:

To get people to recognize the necessity of buying things made in their own country, and also getting them to produce their own electricity where possible.

I think the most important environmental issue is:

Getting people to "think beyond the light switch" and starting to conserve, or even better create their own electricity. Secondly in importance is the necessity of getting our hands on (or building our own) electric vehicles.

The greenest thing I do is:

Watch Solar-powered TV! I installed a 330-watt "supplemental solar" electric system, independent from my main electric system. That system basically powers my living room in the evenings, so we watch solar-powered TV and have solar-powered overhead lighting.

What does "sustainability" mean to me:

Leaving the planet as good as it was when you found it, and better if possible.

Why am I passionate about being green?

There is no future that looks like the present if we continue down the present course. We need to make changes if we're to pass on a world that's as good as the one we were born into. If we don't make those changes, our world will begin to regress.

About Me

I'm a trained economist, a big fan of renewable energy, a business broker, and a small-scale gardener with a lot of "big picture" ideas and plenty of opinions to boot. :)
