| If I could change one thing in the world, it would be: |
That the majority of our species is inable to effectively communicate with others. I'm not talking about have a phone to talk on, I'm talking about effective one on one communication that makes & breaks relationships & people themselves.
I am involved as a community trainer to help at risk couples and parents in my city to learn more effective communication. |
| I think the most important environmental issue is: |
I don't think there's just one 'most important' issue. I want to do as much as I can to make sure the world is still here and beautiful for the generations yet to come. |
| The greenest thing I do is: |
I couldn't tell you. I just do my best and hope it adds up and helps at least a bit. |
| What does "sustainability" mean to me: |
That's a loaded questions. Obviously there are several levels and even meanings within meanings of sustainability.
I guess the way I commonly view the definition of sustainability is like a chain reaction that covers all the different levels. That even the smallest and isolated acts can move towards global sustainability & are part of that chain that makes the big picture a little more attainable. |
| Why am I passionate about being green? |
Like I said in the Enviromental Issue responce; I want to make sure that the beauty of our world isn't lost to the generations to come. It saddens me to think there's a possibility they may never get to see vast forests or plains, or beautiful oceans. |
| About Me |
I had my first child June 8th 2007 so I'm still learning the ropes of being a mom- but it's the most wonderful experience I've ever had.
I'm passionate about having a healthy enviroment for my family, especially.
We are currently trying to find a house and some land of our own so we can become even more self reliant. Nothing fancy, but sort of like a little homestead. |
