SunEarth, Inc. Cascade Drainback System

The Cascade Drainback solar system is SunEarth's OG-300 certified drainback system. A drainback system is protected from freezing damage without the use of antifreeze. The water in the collector array and solar loop piping drains back by gravity into the CopperStor storage reservoir when the pump stops circulating. Air replaces water in the collector array and solar loop piping to prevent freeze damage when the pump is turned off.

The system uses our popular SunEarth Empire Collectors together with CopperStor storage reservoirs.

These systems are Performance Certified when installed to SRCC OG300 Specifications and tank sizes. When properly installed and maintained, these systems meet the minimum standards established by SRCC. The SRCC certification does not imply endorsement or Warranty of this product by SRCC.

Available in various sizes and configurations (with/out auxiliary tank, painted/chrome absorbers, etc). The unit's efficiency will vary based on the size. The specifications below are for the smallest model.
