This process prepares the scraps for burial in less than half the time of conventional composting methods without any unpleasant odors.

The Happy Farmer Bokashi Fermentation Kitchen Composter can be easily implemented in an indoor environment making it useful for apartment, school, household, restaurant, business or wilderness use.

Simply cut food into small pieces and place into the Happy Farmer Kitchen Composter. Then add Bokashi compost starter and secure the airtight lid. When the composter is full, let it sit, unopened for two weeks and ferment. Then mix the fermented food waste with soil and let it compost for another two weeks.
