Hermits™ are full cut diapers with a relaxed fit to allow your baby's skin to breathe easily, and air to circulate as they move around. The comfortable fit makes for good freedom of movement, and reduces the chance of friction rashes. The inner and outer fabric of Hermits™ diapers is soft, 100% cotton. The luxurious fabric has a good texture which helps grab messes and absorbs quickly. The hidden layers are a 55% Hemp 45% cotton blend. There are no synthetic fibers. Hemp can absorb about twice as much as cotton. Side snapping fasteners mean the waist and leg openings are separately adjustable, making a custom fit each time on your ever-changing baby. The hidden quick-dry hemp flap comes out of it's pocket for fast drying, but remains hidden (like a hermit) during wear so you only have one surface to clean messes from. The pocket keeps the flap from shifting during wear. Doublers can be put in the pocket for heavy wetters or overnight.
Newbies are true newborn size Hermits™, and fit approximately 5-12lbs. There is a dip to accomodate the umbilical stump, and the front may be folded down to accomodate a very small baby or premie.
