Philips F32T8 Alto Collection Fluorescent Tube
Philips F32T8 fluorescent light bulbs are used in standard four foot fixtures used in offices and are some of the most energy-efficient available. This is the 75 CRI or color rendering index version of these lamps. These are the lowest cost Philips F32T8 fluorescent light bulbs yet still having a good color rendition many people have converted to these as a part of an energy saving program. The F32T8 is a 4 foot lamp and uses the same bipin sockets as regular T12 lamps. Philips often calls their version a T8 Alto or a TL70 or TL80 and they operate on electronic ballasts.

Better light with less energy!

reviewed April 22, 2008 at 6:06 pm Replaced my T12 (40w) bulbs and fixtures in my game room and garage with these. At only 32w per bulb, I am saving a great deal of energy over the older style considering how much these bulbs are on. The tubes are instant on unlike the old T12s that had lots of initial flicker. The kind I chose have a good warm kelvin / color. They seem to put out as many lumens as the 40w bulbs. Overall, a good buy and a good product.
These are also from the Alto Collection, so they have a significantly reduced level of mercury compared to the older tubes.
