I bought 2 because the switch on my old dimmer kept breaking off. It was easy to install. The dimmer bar hasn't broken off yet, but I guess 10 days isn't much of a stress test =).

If it breaks again I'll buy the more expensive touch sensitive dimmers. If you're cheap like me and careful when hitting the switch (unlike me), this is the switch for you.

Good dimmer - helps save some energy.  Sometimes the sliding knob pops off, but no big deal - just put it back on :-)  Install - if you have done switch installs - was easy, but still electrical work, so be carefull!!!  We have model that is slider only - no switch at bottom like picture.

I have this dimmer switch and have not had any problems. seems to do the job.
