I picked up a few of these little Kettle Valley Organic Fruit Snacks the other day at about 50 cents a pop. In terms of value, they're probably on par with other fruit leathers and fruit snacks, if not a bit cheaper. In terms of flavor, they're total winners. Thus far, I've had the berry blend kind and the strawberry kind. I've got one of the cranberry snacks on my desk, waiting for when I'm feeling peckish.
I've come to realize that I'm rather sensitive to overly sweet things. I definitely don't have that problem with these fruit snack bars. In fact, they have a nice little tartness which is quite refreshing. And from both a taste and nutrition stand point, it's great that they don't have added sugar. They're also not too sticky so you don't come away with a bunch of fruity residue all over your fingers (or stuck in your teeth).
In terms of nutrition...it's pretty cool that these bars are made with one whole apple (plus other natural flavors and juice and what not). Of course, that ends up amounting to half a serving of fruit...but it's a decent way to mix up your fruit in-take.
All in all, they're tasty little things and I certainly would recommend them if you're in the mood for a fruit snacky type thing without all the chemicals and artificial coloring.
