I've never had a problem with sunburns, and when I used sun blocks it was never an issue. But then at some point my skin decided that it has had enough sun and got all sensitive on me and starts to get irritated by the chemical sun screens I used. I found the Sunbrellas Chemical Free Sun Block at my local Whole Foods and it worked great. Like all physical sunblocks, this one works by sitting on top of your skin, reflecting the UV rays. Sometimes this stuff can make you look a little pale if you put on too much or if you don't fully rub it in. But really you only need to use the tiniest amount. I'm serious, a dime size dollop can go a long way. Used sparingly it's not greasy and feels pretty light, and the paling effect isn't really noticeable. At SPF30, it's pretty good protection too, I haven't gotten burnt since I've been using it. So if normal chemical sun blocks irritates your skin, give this one a try.
