The first Civic Hybrid's auto-stop feature was a bit flawed. If you were stopped at a stop light and the auto-shut off for the engine was engaged, and you accidentally let your foot off brake momentarily, or ended up creeping up a few feet in space, then when you reapplied the brake, it would not auto-shut off the engine again. The newer models do not have this flaw. No matter how many little stops you make, the auto-shut off always engages. YIPPIE
