Beans are beans?
nitedreamer reviewed October 23, 2008 at 11:16 am

We buy a fair amount of canned beans, because we usually aren't organized enough to prepare the dried beans for dinner.  I'll buy this brand or Westbrae, which ever is less expensive.  I have not noticed much of a difference between the two brands- both are good quality canned beans.  We do hope to start using dried beans more often though, as they are more environmentally friendly, less expensive, and possibly healthier, since there is no concern about if there is any BPA in the can lining.

Pros: Ready to use, good quality

Cons: Canned goods may have BPA, canned beans cost more and are less environmentally friendly than dried beans
