Pros:Works Really Well! Cleans and Polishes Car Exterior! Great For The Whole Car! Cons:Just Make Sure to Have More Than One Towel... Purchase Date:April 2008
This review is somewhat tongue-in-cheek....

I received this fantastic product in the mail as part of the first Huddler.com prize pack! I used this to wash my Civic Hybrid on a cool day here in the Miami Valley (55F) and was very much pleased with the results!

As many of you may be aware, water is a resource that not every state has in abundance. In fact, Georgia recently declared that they may need to invade Tenn. in order to secure water for their state residents:
http://www.environmentalgraffiti.com/offbeat-news/georgia-to-invade-tennessee-over-water/821

Atlanta, thankfully, also pressed ahead with a more realistic proposal to curtail residents water usage. One of their proposals was to encourage car owners to not wash their cars, but instead be prideful of their water conservation by leaving their car dirty! (I recently visited the city a month or so ago and had a fascinating discussion with a city resident) So, for those of you in Atlanta or for those of you who would like to just cut-back on the amount of waste they produce through their everyday activities, I highly recommend this product!

Per the directions on the bottle, I washed the hood and trunk, followed by the door panels. I did not use this on any glass, since I had recently washed the car and only brought one viscose towel with me. I was very pleased with the way this product cut though some grease and grim on my hybrid and left a smooth silky finish! This product does work! Having washed the bulk of the hybrid, I decided to try a little more adventurous areas of that rarely get properly washed: wheels, tires, and the mud flaps. For the mud flaps, I was astonished at how much grease and grim came up with little effort on my part! This product is even able to cut through brake dust and road grim on wheels, and does not do that bad of a job polishing up the tires!

Now, onto the ingredients list: This product contains coconut derived surfactants (coconut soap), soy based polymers (the part responsible for the silky finish on the paint) and water. Thus, each ingredient is immediately recognizable and nothing harmful or dangerous to you or the environment is contained in the bottle. I concur with the manufacturer that you should get about 6 car cleanings with this one bottle, assuming a compact car (based on my experience with the civic hybrid). Additionally, this product is great for the whole car, not just the paint and windows. If you intend to was the whole car, bring a couple towels. Even though I used a viscose towel and was able to wring out the excess moisture from time to time, having multiple towels handy will accelerate the washing.

Highly recommended and it works!

Pros:Fast, easy, effective Cons:The kids are going to have to think up new fundraisers!
I have to thank huddler.com for this one - I won this nifty cleaner in huddler's first contest. Otherwise, I might have not tried it out. I am so glad that I did.

At work I park under a tree, where dozens of birds have made their nests (including a pair of owls that lived in a palm tree for a month, that was weird). At home, I park under a liquid amber tree that sprays (launches rather) a fine mist of sap and then it throws pollen filled monkey balls all over my car. Needless to say, my car gets dirty.

That said, Ecotouch Waterless Carwash cut right through the bird poo, sap, dirt, and ashes from last week's San Gabriel fires without a problem. Simply spray one panel at a time, and wipe away with a microfiber cloth. I did a basic job - top, hood, sides, trunk - in about 15 minutes. I'm looking forward to a more thorough clean next week.

The incredible benefit of course, is the huge water savings. Not getting all wet, or having to clean up afterwards, or deal with sopping wet towels, was a huge bonus. With just a bottle of cleaner and a microfiber cloth, you're done. I'm sold!

Pros:ease of use, cleans very well, can do it anywhere, odorless Cons:windows Purchase Date:April 2008 Purchase Price:$14.99
I found this at our local Whole Foods in Atlanta and took it home for a first try. Worked just as the bottle described, cleaned and polished my entire little mini in about 20 minutes. Liked the fact that there was no mess in the driveway afters. Took off bird gunk and bugs with ease. Need to use only a little bit on the windows though. Overall a great product, glad to find it!!

Pros:transportability
We don't have an outside spigot - go figure. But there are a lot of trees where I work. Lots of trees means lots of birds. Need I say that it is TOO GREAT having a way to clean my car fast without going to a car wash!

Pros:Great time and water saver Cons:heavily soiled cars shouldn't apply Purchase Date:March 2008 Purchase Price:$17.00
I bought a spray bottle and 2 towels to test it out. It does what it says, cuts through the grime and cleans you car. Very easy and I did 2 cars in 45 minutes. They were both heavily soiled though and I did find that it left a grime...especially on the windows. I suspect that this would be cleared on a second application, but I have to wash the towels first in order to use it again.

Pros:saves water, easy to use, effective Cons:requires a bit of effort Purchase Date:April 2008 Purchase Price:$20.00
So Eco Touch - good stuff! I purchased the starter kit for $20, and it came with a 22 oz bottle of Eco Touch and two microfiber towels. Not a bad deal. The two towels allow you to get some nice wax on-wax off action going.

The stuff is easy to use - just spray on, wipe off, and give a final wipe with the second towel. I had quite a few bird poops on my car, and it did a good job of removing them. It required some extra rubbing, but that's to be expected, and most of the poop was successfully removed. It was equally as effective as normal soap and water washing.

The water savings of Eco Touch are really great. Consider how much water is wasted when you fill up a bucket of soapy water and spray down your car, or go through a car wash. Then consider you do the same job with around 8 ounces of Eco Touch. I'm really impressed with the stuff - no more car washes for me!

Pros:wate conservation, simple, easy, one-step, economical, non-toxic, eco-friendly , biodegradable, renewable plant sources, recyclable Purchase Date:September 2007 Purchase Price:$19.99
James Dudra, owner or Eco Touch, made me think...it takes approximately 80-140 gallons of water to wash a car. Although I have used an organic car wash for years, and never worried about toxic detergents and oils seeping into the soil, I gave little attention to water conservation. My best effort was to not let the water run between wash and rinse, and use a single bucket of suds.

I was delighted to find a waterless solution, a way to conserve water, a lot of water. One bottle of Eco Touch saves 800 gallons of water (7-8 washes/bottle). If we were all to choose the waterless wash method...just imagine the huge impact this will have on our water supply. Its a time saver too. It takes me 10 minutes tops to clean and polish my 2CV "Lorane". She loves it as much as I do!

From product line, to bottling and packaging, to how product is shipped - James implements environmental stewardship by using non-toxic, biodegradable, renewable plant sources and recycles, recycles, recycles.

Thanks Huddler for supplying me with a spray bottle of Eco Touch waterless car wash and polish! More quick and easy clean & shines throughout the year!!

Pros:Time saving, convenience, cleaning power/shine/beading Cons:Little streaky in direct sunlight Purchase Date:September 2007 Purchase Price:$15.00
Very simple and easy way to clean your entire car. I picked up a bottle at the Green Festival Washington, DC while we went under water restrictions last summer. To be quite honest I wasn't sure how well this was going to work. Surprisingly it too far less effort than a bucket/hose wash and left the car cleaner. The next night it rained outside and the product had created a nice layer of beads on top. Definitely a good buy :)

Pros:easy to use, cleans well, leaves surfaces shiny Cons:if your car is really dirty, you still have to rinse it with water before using Eco Touch Purchase Date:November 2007 Purchase Price:$15.00
The spray is really simple to use (spray, wipe, and polish). It saves time because instead of going through all the prep work, washing your car, and then drying it, you get all the steps combined. It left the windows in particular looking great (no streaks at all)! It's a good deal to spend only $15 (discount at the Green Festival - and that included both the spray and the microfiber towels) for a bottle that lasts a long time.

The only catch is that you can't use it on heavily soiled vehicles (needless to say, I had to take my car to the normal car wash after I went skiing).

Pros:Incredibly easy to use, great on windows Purchase Price:$20.00
I had a chance to use my Ecotouch waterless car wash. I was skeptical of how good it would work, but I was pleasantly surprised. For normal dirt and grime on the car, it looks just as good as if I had gone to the car wash down the street and dropped $25. I found it really looks great on windows.

The only weakness (and admittedly I didn't think it would work) was that it couldn't get off the calcium stains I have on the side of my car. Also, I've never been much of a fan of getting out the bucket and rags, mixing the forumla, etc. so this was a very pleasant change of pace to just walk around the car with the spray bottle and wipe it down. I think I did the whole thing in 15 minutew.
