Pros:good on floors, dishes, countertops Cons:not so good on laundry, smell is kind of strong

I used to use this product and it was okay. Eco-friendly, yes. However, for laundry it's not as effective as some other eco-friendly soaps I've used. I like using it for my kitchen floor and for washing dishes. Did a good job there.

I tell everyone I know that they have to clean with Sal's Suds. Just a few drops will clean an entire bathtub! This cleaner is very inexpensive and can clean anything in your house.

Pros:Does the job, smells great, vegetable based, fair-trade, no animal testing Cons:can be a bit drying to skin, not widely available

I buy this stuff by the gallon and use it for all my cleaning around the house (except for dish soap, I'm using up some I had). I use 1/2 tablespoon per load of laundry with an equal amount of baking soda to soften the water. It works great in my front load washer, no over sudsing and the clothes come out clean and fresh smelling.

I use a splash in a spray bottle full of water with a splash of vinegar or rubbing alcohol (whatever I have on hand) and use it as my general all over house cleaner. It does windows, mirrors, sinks, counter tops, greasy oven hoods and stove tops, shower, and I even use the spray on my vinyl floors with a damp micro-fiber cloth in place of mopping with a mop and bucket.

I plan to give it a try as a dish soap. I tried it once and it cleaned the dishes as well as any dish soap, but my hands were dry after. I'll wait to see how it goes once I've used up the dish soap I have and begin using it daily.

I'm a fan of Dr. Bronner's Magic soaps for personal care so it seems natural that I would try this product and like it. I really like that I can buy one bottle of soap and use it in so many ways. It makes tracking what cleaning products I need to buy and when, since there is really only one. The down side is I haven't been able to find it being sold in my town. I order it online from Dr. Bronner's website and shipping is free.
