About Wall/Window Mounted
The purpose of an air conditioner is to provide comfort on hot days and nights. But wouldn’t you be comforted if your air conditioner was an efficient one? If every room air conditioner sold in the United States was Energy Star qualified, it would prevent 1.2 million pounds of greenhouse gas emissions (the equivalent of 100,000 cars). In this Huddle, you’ll find air conditioning units that meet the Energy Star criteria. Depending on configuration the Energy Efficiency Rating (EER) varies, but as a general rule of thumb, the EER should be 9.4 or greater.
