In this Huddle, you’ll find clothes washers that meet Energy Star criteria and use 40% less energy and 20 to 50% less water than standard models. That means they must have a minimum Modified Energy Factor (MEF) of 1.72 and a maximum Water Factor (WF) of 8.0.
