If you live in a moderate climate, a heat pump could save you up to 40% on your electric bill. In this Huddle, you’ll find air source heat pumps that meet Energy Star criteria (split systems have a HSPF of 8.2 or greater and a SEER of 14 or greater; single package units have a HSPF of 8.0 or greater and a SEER of 14 or greater) are 8% more efficient than standard new models (and 20% more efficient than older heat pumps).
