I used this only once and I was in the shade most of the time, so I cannot speak for its effectiveness. What I did not like though (and the reason I did not use it again) was that it just sat on the skin in a thick white layer that got rather icky once I got out of the water. It has a rather thick and grainy consistency. I don't think I will be using this again...

I saw this in the store and saw that it had PABA in it. That's not good.

Well we gave this one a try with a few other brands and I can say that my sun was so badly burnt it turned into scabs on his face, I was burnt, my mother got a really blotchy burn, my husband burnt and then got a rash and my father blistered from being burnt so bad. It really put a damper on our trip as this all happened the first day or two. After we recovered and switched to a new brand (and yes sometimes we had to use chemical one's because that's all that was available from other guests) we enjoyed our trip. Wouldn't recommend this one!
