This weekend is the SF Green Festival, at which Huddler has a booth. Since I'm not too far away geographically, they asked me to come down and check it out, and put me up in the Good Hotel, which is an eco-friendly hotel in SF, and asked me to review it. I've got about an hour to kill before the festival starts, so I figured I'd do that.
It's a really cool hotel. The rooms are a bit small, but sufficient.
Every light fixture appears to have a CFL - good start. Plus the bedframes are made from reclaimed wood. Very cool.
In the bathroom there are no little shampoos and soaps - just refillable dispensers and also low-flow fixtures and toilet.

And my favorite part of the whole room - a Sink Positive! I was stoked.
Really nice light fixtures made out of recycled Voss glass water bottles.
And nice ceiling fans too.
It even had a waste basket made out of 100% post-industrial plastic.
The one thing that seemed out of place was that each room (I had 2 because I thought some people were coming along with me) had a fairly big flat screen TV.
But overall definitely the coolest hotel I've stayed at. They put a lot of thought into reusing and recycling materials, and there are little notes all over the place reminding people to conserve as much as possible. Thanks for putting me up here, Huddler!
Now I'm off to the festival where I'll take some more photos and talk about it tomorrow.
