I noticed in line at the grocery store that Camelbak is now marketing their new bottles (adult bottles) as "New Formula - BPA Free!!" so apparently there was enough noise made by the market to cause change. Pretty cool. Thanks Kay!

Yeah, I actually went to a talk a few months ago on human health and environmental toxins. A big topic was BPA and the fact that it's in the lining of canned foods - I think the speaker was a researcher from the NRDC working on a lot of fertility stuff. I recall her talking about how the FDA doesn't regulate that kind of thing.
It's really unfortunate because it's true. A lot of stuff comes in cans. There aren't as many options for food in glass jars.
