The 11th Hour is Now

I recently rented the newly released 11th hour by Leonardo DiCaprio.  I know the Inconvenient Truth was awesome and I watched it several times, so I thought I would check this one out too.

I personally really liked it, it is different though than the Al Gore movie.  The information was great, but some of the format could have been spiced up in some way to get more people to enjoy it, as I know some people find documentaries, especially ones with lots of scientists talking boring.  But again to each his own.

I was just so inspired again by the information and the introduction to all these awesome new "green" ideas like Biomimicry.

Has anyone else seen it?  What do you guys think about it?

I actually didn't get a chance to see it when it was in theaters.  I'm definitely going to have to put it on my Netflix queue!  Anybody else have any thoughts on it?

I've been wanting to see that for sure. I'll check it out and post here for sure! Thanks for the recommendation

A friend of mine loaned me the documentary  (I had loaned her An Inconvenient Truth so we are even :-)

Anyway, I liked it as well - the Wife did not like the more pure "documentary" format, but we very informative and had really great info in it.  It was a little more alarming in many ways because it did not just cover GW, but all aspects of the environment that they could fit into the movie.

Recommend you all see it.

If you do get a chance to watch the DVD I recommend the special features with Janine Benyus. She talks about Biomimicry and how nature solves problems vs how we as humans solve them. It is an eye opening piece about where we need to look to solve issues.

I will have to get it.  Sounds like something worth watching.  Thanks for the info.
