February 2008, Ginger Wireman spoke to us about the e3 Washington events in our Feb 1 Alternative Energy User Group meeting. Jessica Geenen also spoke to us about the Mid-Columbia Sustainable Business Network activities and invited all Alternative Energy User Group attendees to participate.
After participating in the e3Washington activities, I found it to be a rather intelligensia-like, well-monied activity that in my mind tended to lean left of center in its attempt to do community planning and regional government.
We've had 3 Sustainable Business Network meetings since the group was formed. We heard from Boise Cascade in Wallula, WA and their involvement withe Department of Ecology project regarding ways to improve industrial impacts to the surrounding flora, fauna and community.
