I am in the process of designing a new woodburning cook stove. My old Master Climax is dying, so I am stripping the parts off and refinishing the chrome parts and building the stove out of hemp cement. I plan to start construction in May to allow the summer for the cement to set. I have used Hemp Cement for chinking my cabin with excellent results. I am confident that by adding high silica sand to the mix I will have a stove that will last a very long time. I have friend who built one from brick. He could put one fire on in the morning and still bake bread at eight o'clock at night.
